Street Food / Commis Chef !

The Horns Inn, Churchtown, Preston are now looking for a Street Food/Commis Chef to join the team & grow our new food offer. The kitchen will operate all year round and has also entered the take-a-way market via Just Eat and Deliveroo.

The ideal candidate must be passionate, hands-on and committed to help push our business forward. We operate a stone baked pizza oven using authentic fresh dough and would require candidates to have a minimum of 12 months experience with a similar menu.
You will:
Have high standards of cleanliness
Have the ability to work under the pressure
Prepare, present and serve food to required standards
Ensure that all food storage, preparation and service of all foods meet the documented temperature guidelines
Report any issues back to Group Executive Head Chef
Complete the ordering of kitchen supplies
Complete kitchen opening and close down procedures as per schedule
In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £12.90 per hour
