Job Title: Registered Care Home Manager – Residential Care Home (22 Beds)
Location: Knowle Court Care Home
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Role
The Care Home Manager will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of Knowle Court, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered at all times. This is a key leadership role, overseeing staff, ensuring compliance, and facilitating the smooth operation of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and leading the care team, including recruitment, supervision, and development
- Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and all regulatory requirements
- Overseeing care planning and ensuring residents receive safe, effective, and compassionate care
- Managing occupancy, rotas, budgets, and resources effectively
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external partners
- Promoting a positive culture focused on quality, dignity, and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's management experience within a residential care home.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or currently working towards achieving it).
- Excellent knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in writing and reviewing person-centred care plans.
- Strong understanding of compliance, auditing and quality assurance.
- Knowledge and experience of activity coordination within a care setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
- Competent IT skills.
- Full UK driving licence (desirable).
