Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure excellent childcare delivery
- Oversee daily nursery operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining a safe, clean environment
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and nursery policies
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through effective communication and regular updates on children’s progress
- Manage administrative tasks such as record keeping, attendance tracking, and reporting for regulatory purposes
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff members to maintain a high-performing team dedicated to quality childcare
Skills
- Proven management and leadership skills with experience overseeing early childhood education settings
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, staff, and external partners
- Extensive experience working with children in childcare or nursery environments
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Ability to foster a positive team environment while ensuring operational excellence
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and compliance documentation
- Valid driving license is preferred for transportation or outreach activities

Pay: £25,775.59-£45,782.46 per year
