Responsibilities
- Safely handle and control dogs during their daily activities to ensure their safety and proper behaviour.
- Assist with the socialisation of dogs to improve obedience and temperament.
- Provide compassionate animal care, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring health conditions.
- Support veterinary staff with basic animal health procedures when needed.
- Engage with clients or pet owners by offering guidance on dog behavior and care practices.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies, crates, or equipment necessary for daily operations.
- Maintain detailed records of each dog’s progress, health status, and behavioral observations.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with dogs in similar environment.
- Strong animal care skills with a focus on safety and humane handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties.
- Knowledge of canine behavior, training methods, and basic veterinary procedures is highly desirable.
- Valid certification or experience in animal care is preferred but not mandatory.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work outdoors or in active settings for extended periods.
