Due to the increasing growth and the popularity of this special heritage asset, a vacancy for a chef has become available. The successful applicant will work alongside our head chef and other catering operatives, café staff, function staff, KP and an element of volunteer help on some occasions. Duties will include preparation of our famous Afternoon Teas in the Georgian Hall, and shifts in our busy main café kitchen.
The applicant must be totally reliable, completely committed and flexible, with a good attitude to work so as we can provide excellent continuity and service. These are the basic qualities our charitable trust expects.
Mostly the position will operate between the hours of 9.30am-5pm, 5 days a week on a rota, but occasionally evening hours are required. The operation opens 7 days per week, so weekends will also be a regular part of the rota.
