Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team. Duties
- Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standard
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with company policies
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet their specific cleaning requirements
- Occasionally provide customer service support by addressing client queries professionally
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or similar roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within the team and with clients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ideally hold a current DBS but we will apply and pay for one
