First Fix Carpenter – Join the New Dimension Builders Team
New Dimension Builders is a family-run building company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality construction projects across the New Forest and surrounding areas. We specialise in extensions, renovations, and bespoke new builds, and we're looking for an experienced First Fix Carpenter to join our growing team.
The Role
We're looking for a qualified and experienced First Fix Carpenter who takes pride in their workmanship and can confidently lead a small team while also working independently.
You should have experience in:
- Cutting and constructing roofs
- Building stud walls
- Installing floor joists
- Reading and working from drawings
- General first-fix carpentry and a solid understanding of the wider building trade
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have several years of first-fix carpentry experience
- Be capable of leading and motivating a small team
- Work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
- Be reliable, organised, and able to use their own initiative
- Hold a full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Be able to provide examples or a portfolio of previous work

Shift and schedule
- Monday to Friday (Overtime is available and encouraged where necessary)

- Based from Fordingbridge (we generally work in a 20 mile radius)
