An Exciting Opportunity to Lead a Newly Reopened Care Home
Pennwood Lodge Care Home has recently been acquired by Genie Care Homes and is entering an exciting new chapter. Following a comprehensive refurbishment, our 68-bed care home has reopened and is currently operating at approximately half capacity, creating a unique opportunity for an ambitious and passionate Registered Manager to help shape the future of the service.

About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care while maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations. You will inspire your team, support continuous improvement, develop strong relationships with residents and their families, and play a key role in growing the home's reputation within the local community.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to progress.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
- A proactive approach to quality improvement and occupancy growth.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to achieve).
- NMC registration is desirable but not essential.
