Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist or Pharmacist Manager to support our pharmacy team and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will oversee daily pharmacy operations, provide expert medication management, and support a team of pharmacy professionals. Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards
- Oversee medication dispensing, administration, and inventory control to guarantee accuracy and safety
- Provide expert advice on medication usage, interactions, and patient care plans
- Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including training and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment outcomes
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols
- Deliver pharmacy NHS services to our patients
- Support and deliver Private Services via PGDs
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay current with industry best practices
Requirements
- Fully qualified Pharmacist with GPhC registration
- Proven experience in a clinical pharmacy setting
- Strong knowledge of community pharmacy
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous management experience preferred
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and colleagues
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and maintaining high professional standards
