Job Title: Senior Night Carer (Part-Time, 3 Nights per Week)Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Night Carer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality overnight care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the night.
This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who is confident working independently during night shifts while supporting a compassionate and professional care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate personalised care plans during night shifts, ensuring all client needs are met with dignity and compassion
- Supervise and support junior carers, offering guidance and maintaining high standards of care
- Respond to client needs promptly and professionally throughout the night
- Maintain accurate digital and written records using Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and team members
- Ensure smooth handover between day and night staff
- Organise priorities and manage time effectively during overnight shifts
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Promote a calm, safe, and respectful night-time environment for all clients
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in a caregiving or healthcare setting (essential)
- Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role (preferred)
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and remain calm during night shifts
- Compassionate, respectful, and client-focused attitude
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of care
Working Pattern

Pay: £12.71 per hour
