We are looking for a reliable and organised Office Administrator to join our busy accountancy practice for maternity cover. This is a varied role that plays an important part in keeping the office running smoothly and supporting the wider team during busy client periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls and being the first point of contact for clients
- Booking appointments and managing the meeting calendar
- Preparing documents for client meetings and appointments
- Greeting clients and preparing refreshments
- Scanning, organising, and uploading client records and post
- Supporting the team with general administrative duties
- Contacting clients for documents and reminders of deadlines
- Chasing client payments
About the Role
The role includes a high volume of document scanning and digital organisation, supporting VAT and client record processing. Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to stay focused on administrative tasks are essential.
Scanning and document management continue throughout the month alongside other office duties, with quieter periods providing opportunities to manage with the company’s social media presence, including preparing and scheduling content for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
