Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial roles is preferred, and a professional attitude is essential. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust surfaces thoroughly
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or hazards
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning products preferred
- Experience within the hospitality sector is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are crucial for success in this role
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: £12.80-£12.90 per hour
