Aingarth Residential Home is a small family run care home in Rhos on Sea. Our aim is to provide the highest quality person centered care to the residents to ensure their quality of life in enhanced.

We are hiring a full time carer to work 36 hours per week with flexibility for extra shifts
Day care assistant position 7.45 am -8pm
Rota system covering 7 days a week

Care Assistants are responsible for supporting residents with their personal needs, and may be asked to assist with meals, dressing, bathing and other common daily activities whilst remaining person centred in the approach. In addition, our Care Assistants are required to ensure residents' safety in the home environment while they are in their care.
A successful Care Assistant candidate will be kind, caring and compassionate. Our care assistants deliver activities within the Care Home and therefore someone who enjoys this aspect of care is essential
Experience preferred but not essential, must be able to administer medication and have had the relevant training.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record the patient's condition; this includes changes in the patient's condition and responding appropriately to the needs of the patient and family.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, families, doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff using a caring and compassionate tone.
- Demonstrate infection control measures.
- Work as part of a team.
- Deliver and participate in activities for the Residents
- To be registered with Social Care Wales
- NVQ level 2 preferred
Pay: £13.25-£13.45 per hour
