To provide a wide range of activities, to interest and stimulate the physical and mental state and well-being of the residents.
To understand the need of promoting the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfillment for all residents.
To plan ongoing weekly activity rotas in conjunction with the resident's wishes and encourage resident's to maintain pre-existing hobbies.
Maintain full and accurate records of activities using the electronic care planning software.
Foster good community relations and assist in organising fund-raising events.
To assist the home manager in planning special events such as coffee mornings, summer fetes, Christmas parties etc.
To book and manage outside entertainers and keep an up to date diary of events.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.82-£13.39 per hour
