Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Manager to oversee nursing operations within our 19 bed facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care are maintained
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Oversee medication administration procedures in accordance with legal and organisational guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and legal requirements within the facility.
- Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff to promote professional development and team cohesion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, therapists, social workers, and family members to deliver holistic care solutions.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, incident reports, and regulatory reports.
- Manage resource allocation effectively to ensure smooth operational workflows within the facility.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification recognised by relevant regulatory bodies.
- Proven experience in senior care settings
- Demonstrable expertise in specialised areas including dementia care, Palliative care, and managing individuals with disabilities.
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate approach combined with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients’ families and healthcare teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment and handle complex cases such as palliative care cases effectively.
