Position: Shop, Kitchen & Post Office Assistant
Location: Partney Filling Station (Gill Marsh Forecourts)
Hours: 18 hours per week (over 3 days)

Gill Marsh Forecourts is an expanding operator of SPAR convenience stores and forecourts, dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service and a great range of products to our local community. We’re looking for one enthusiastic, reliable team member to join us at Partney Filling Station in combined Shop, Kitchen & Post Office Assistant role.
These are permanent positions offering a friendly team environment, variety in your day-to-day tasks, and excellent staff discounts.
Key Responsibilities
Retail & Post Office Duties:
- Serve customers and provide excellent, friendly service
- Operate the till and handle transactions accurately
- Assist customers at the Post Office counter (training provided)
- Replenish stock and maintain attractive product displays
- Keep the store clean, tidy, and well-presented
Kitchen Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of food items for takeaway and in-store service
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Support with stock rotation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties
- Work efficiently to meet demand during busy periods
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in retail, kitchen, or customer service roles is an advantage (training provided)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work across both shop and kitchen areas
- Flexible approach to work to support the team when needed
