We’re Moorhaven Care Home, a Nursing and Residential Care Service in Oldham providing care and support for elderly residents and those living with dementia.
We’re seeking to recruit some great new members of our team and are currently looking for Day Care Assistants; someone with the right values and attitude to work in our care home – could this be you?
You will ideally hold an NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care. but this is not essential. Our main priority for this job role is to find someone with the right attitude and behaviours to match our own! You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications to get started – we’re happy to work with you to help you become a valued member of our family.

The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our residents are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such. Duties include supporting with personal care needs, as well as supporting our residents to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, watching the football, drama, musical evenings and social occasions. Ensuring the home is a clean, welcoming and safe environment to live in, that every meal is wholesome, appetising and nutritious and that every resident has choice as to what they eat, wear and do, promoting their independence, dignity and self-worth.
The hours are 7.30am -8pm with a half hour unpaid break, 48, 36 and 24 hour contracts available.
