Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining efficient office workflows, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent communication across departments. Duties
- Manage and coordinate daily office activities to ensure smooth operations
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to foster a productive team environment
- Maintain accurate financial records , including invoicing, expense tracking, and payroll processing
- Organise schedules, meetings, and appointments for senior management
- Handle correspondence via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Develop and implement organisational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Foster effective communication across departments to promote a collaborative workplace culture
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including phone etiquette.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Sound knowledge of office procedures, clerical practices, and administrative systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanour suitable for liaising with clients and staff alike. Mon to Friday. No weekends or bank hollidays. 08.30 to 5.30 but generally job and knock. Family owned company with a great group of staff who work as a team . Honnest reliable person needed. Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
