Location: North Manchester, covering the North West and surrounding areas
Pay: £35,932 per year, plus attendance bonus scheme

Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for steady, local work with a well-established family-run business? SD Waste Paper Ltd is looking for a reliable driver to join our team, collecting and delivering waste paper across the North West and nearby regions.
This is a practical, customer-facing driving role with regular weekday hours, no nights away, and the chance to become part of a friendly business that has been operating in recycling for more than 35 years.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll collect and deliver waste paper for a varied customer base across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Yorkshire, Merseyside, and the Peak District. You’ll be a regular point of contact for customers, so a professional approach and good communication skills are important.
- Driving safely and professionally across our operating regions
- Completing collections and deliveries on planned routes
- Loading and unloading at customer premises where required
- Representing the company positively when dealing with customers
- Following safety procedures, transport legislation, and company standards
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with customers as part of their daily route.
- Class 2 HGV driving experience
- FLT desirable - (Current FLT Licence will guarantee an interview for the role)
- Driver CPC qualification
- Right to work in the UK
- A reliable, punctual, and professional approach
- Willingness to travel across the operating region
- Customer service skills and confidence dealing with different sites
Hours and working pattern
Monday to Friday, 06:00–17:00, including a 1-hour break.
