Working Foreman / Supervisor – Preston
£23.50 per hour (CIS) | Immediate Start | 6+ Months Work
TimesGroup Ltd is looking for an experienced Working Foreman / Supervisor to join our team on a large apartment refurbishment project in Preston.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, and applicants must come from a trade background as a Painter & Decorator, Plasterer or Joiner. You will be responsible for supervising refurbishment teams while also carrying out trade works where required to help maintain programme.
Start Date: Monday 20th July 2026
This is a long-term opportunity with a minimum of 6 months' work on this project, with further projects available for the right candidate.
Duties include:
- Supervising teams of operatives across multiple apartment refurbishments.
- Leading by example and carrying out trade works where required.
- Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
- Coordinating daily activities to maintain programme.
- Liaising with Site Management and reporting progress.
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Assisting with snagging and final handovers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Working Foreman, Supervisor or Chargehand.
- Trade background in Painting & Decorating, Plastering or Joinery.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- Own transport.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise teams whilst remaining hands-on.
- Reliable, proactive and able to work under minimal supervision.
