We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support within their own homes. Responsibilities
- Assist service users with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety at all times
- Follow individual care plans to deliver personalised care tailored to each client’s needs
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in condition
- Support clients with medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
- Assist with light domestic duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Skills Needed:
- Valid driving licence is desirable.
- Experience working within a care home or home care setting is advantageous
- Ability to understand and follow individualised care plans accurately
- Good IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and communication records
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients
- Organised and reliable, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
