Night shift overseeing 3 locations between Faversham, Gillingham and Tonbridge
£33,000 – £35,000 per annum depending on experience + company van + fuel card
Are you a confident and supportive leader with a passion for high standards and team development? We’re looking for a Nights Cleaning Duty Manager to join our Transport Division in Kent, overseeing 3 rail depots in Faversham, Gillingham and Tonbridge. In this role, you’ll lead a team of Supervisors and Cleaning Operatives helping maintain high cleaning standards across 3 rail sites and ensuring operations run smoothly.

As a Nights Cleaning Duty Manager you will:
- Support and guide Supervisors and cleaning teams to meet high-quality service and safety standards.
- Ensure team members are trained in health and safety (including HSEQ and machinery use), and that training records are up to date.
- Carry out daily quality audits and report findings to the Account Manager.
- Help to recruit and onboard new team members when vacancies arise.
- Lead regular staff briefings and monthly safety discussions (toolbox talks).
As a Nights Cleaning Duty Manager you’ll have:
- Experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, ideally in cleaning, FM, or a similar operational setting.
- Knowledge of COSHH, Health & Safety, and (ideally) an IOSH certificate.
- A calm, organised approach with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
- Ability to meet vetting requirements, including a 5-year work history check
