About the role
Source Supply are recruiting for an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to work with a Year 6 class at a Primary School in Rotherham. The role is required on a full-time basis due to start in September until Easter 2027.
You will be working alongside a Teaching Assistant helping to support the pupils in preparation for their SATS exams next year.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum
- Demonstrate high expectations for learning and behaviour
- Be passionate about raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative staff team
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
· Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
· Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
· Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
· Be comfortable delivering their own and pre-set lesson plans to range of children, dependant on the requirements of the school.
· Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
· Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
