We are recruiting for our customer skilled Class 2 Drivers.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting Quality Food products to catering companies in a safely and efficiently manner across parts of the UK .
This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.
You will be required to attend an assessment
Shift Pattern
Day's
- any pattern or odd days over the week/weekend
- Start times 1930hrs
PAY - £18.50-£22.00 per hour
Night's
- any pattern or odd days over the week/weekend
- Start times between 0300 -0500
PAY - £19.00-£25.00 per hour
Duties
- Class 2 driving
- Operate Trucks in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport goods to designated locations while ensuring timely deliveries.
- Conduct Vehicle checks to ensure safety and functionality.
- Secure Loads using appropriate methods to prevent damage during transit. ·
- Deliver goods directly to customers storage areas, including fridges and freezers within restaurants and other customer locations
- Handle all goods with care, following company guidelines to maintain quality and prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with transport regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise
Qualifications
- Valid Class 2 licence
- Valid Digital Tacho Card
- Valid CPC Card
- No more than 6 points
