What does the role generally require and include:
- Our retail team is looking for experienced retail supervisors with career aspirations to help run a very busy garden centre in Newton Abbot.
- Responsibilities will vary between running a payment area at busy times to helping to merchandise garden sundries and tools and garden plants.
- We are looking for talented and experienced retail staff who can take our business forward by taking responsibility for merchandising departments and showing leadership and problem solving on a daily basis and who have a flair for creating amazing and well organised displays
- Applicants need to be physically fit, able to lift and carry, and enjoy the physical processes of working in a garden centre retail environment with an ever changing range of products and also a strong focus on Christmas in season.
- The garden centre operates on a seven day a week basis so weekend working will be required.
- Occasional early mornings and / or late night support might be needed during peak trading times.
