Mechanical Fitters
KAP are looking for an experienced and reliable Mechanical Fitters to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building , mechanical equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely.
- Follow all company health, safety, and quality procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical engineering role.
- Good mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of mechanical maintenance and assembly.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Forklift licence is desirable.
- Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications are advantageous.
