We are seeking a vibrant, customer-focused All-Rounder to join our passionate team. This diverse role spans our bustling cafe, authentic bakery, and traditional Greek deli. You will be the face of our business, ensuring every guest experiences genuine Mediterranean hospitality. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and love Greek food, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Front of House & Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and share deep knowledge of the Greek menu items and deli goods.
- Operate the till, process cash and card payments accurately.
- Take takeaway orders efficiently.
- Clear, wipe down, and reset tables to maintain a clean outdoors seating area.
Barista & Beverage Preparation
- Prepare Greek coffee (frappe, freddo espresso, traditional briki coffee) alongside standard espresso drinks.
- Restock beverage fridges, milk, syrups, and takeaway cups.
Bakery & Deli
- Display fresh-baked Greek pastries and sweets attractively.
- Keep deli shelves and window displays fully stocked and tidy. That includes assisting with the deliveries of goods.
Hygiene and Safety
- Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and allergen rules.
- Monitor fridge and food temperatures and log them correctly.
- Wash dishes, sanitize prep areas, and sweep floors throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Friendly, upbeat attitude with a strong team spirit.
- Previous experience in a busy cafe - bakery and nowledge of Greek food and culture is a plus, but not mandatory.
