Accounts Semi Senior / Accounts Senior
Scott Vevers is a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Bridport, Dorset. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Senior to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accountancy practice experience who is looking to develop their career in a varied role, working with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of accounts for a range of clients
- Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns
- Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships
- Working closely with managers and other team members
- Assisting clients with accounting software queries
Depending on experience and training opportunities, there may also be involvement in:
- Personal tax computations
- Corporation tax computations
- Payroll work
- Audit assignments
Requirements:
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essential
- Experience using accounting software packages such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive and proactive approach
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Part-time considered (20–37.5 hours per week)
Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
