Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This role involves engaging with customers, taking orders, and maintaining high standards of hospitality and food safety. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is preferred, along with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any special requests or dietary needs
- Assist with food preparation and organisation as required
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations
- Uphold food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Manage cash handling and billing procedures accurately
- Support barista functions if applicable, including preparing coffee and other beverages
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience with food preparation or restaurant operations is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
- Friendly, professional demeanour with a strong customer service focus
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings as required
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about our menu offerings and service standards
