We're looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer - Gas Engineer Bias to join our Hard Services team at HSE Buxton, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a busy and varied site while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas and mechanical systems.
Role Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across mechanical, electrical and fabric services.
Undertake fault finding, diagnosis and repair of gas and mechanical systems to ensure continuous service delivery.
Respond to breakdowns and support the on-call function when required.
Complete statutory inspections, compliance checks and maintenance activities in line with contractual requirements.
Carry out plumbing and gas-related tasks, including repairs to toilets, showers, sinks and associated systems, while maintaining high health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
Hold Gas/Plumbing trade qualifications or certifications.
Industry exposure within Science or Research Centres.
Strong knowledge of statutory compliance requirements relating to gas and building services maintenance.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications and CAFM systems.
