Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Controller to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will coordinate service operations, ensure smooth communication between clients and technicians, and support the delivery of top-quality refrigeration and climate control services. Your proactive approach and technical understanding will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in sustainable cooling solutions.
Duties
- Schedule and dispatch service technicians to client sites efficiently, prioritizing urgent requests and routine maintenance
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding service appointments, status updates, and technical support
- Monitor service progress, ensuring timely completion of tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and technician reports for ongoing client support and warranty purposes
- Collaborate with technical teams to coordinate parts procurement, equipment availability, and resource allocation
- Assist in troubleshooting service issues by providing detailed information to technicians and clients
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by gathering feedback from clients and technicians to enhance service delivery
Experience
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with familiarity in refrigeration or climate control systems
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools to assist technicians or perform basic maintenance tasks
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, technicians, and internal teams
- Previous experience in a service coordination or dispatch role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for candidates eager to learn
- Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
