Pay: From £30,000.00 TO £40,000.00 gross per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
Goldsmiths Solicitors is looking to recruit a driven and experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our busy and expanding team.
We act on a wide range of private family law matters, including matrimonial finance and private children cases. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own caseload while working within a supportive and forward thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of private family law matters from instruction through to conclusion with the help of an assistant
- Advising clients on matrimonial and children matters as well as injunctions
- Drafting legal documents including applications, and witness statements etc.
- Representing clients at Court
- Liaising with clients, counsel, the Court, and other parties
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the department
Requirements:
- NQ/ Experienced Solicitor in family law
- Strong knowledge of matrimonial finance, private children and injunction matters
- Excellent drafting and advocacy skills
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- A proactive and professional approach to work
