The Waterfront Cafe is a busy breakfast and brunch spot located on the beautiful Coyle Water Fishery in Ayrshire. We're looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team and help keep our kitchen running smoothly during our busiest hours. The Role As our Kitchen Porter, you'll be the backbone of the kitchen – keeping everything clean, organised, and ready for service. You'll work alongside our chefs to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently and meets our high standards of hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
· Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
· Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy throughout service
· Emptying bins and managing waste disposal · Assisting chefs with basic food preparation (e.g., peeling, chopping)
· Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
· Ensuring cleaning supplies are stocked and organised About You
· Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Good team player with a positive attitude
