Justin Bucknell Electrical is one of Oxfordshire's leading installers of Air Conditioning, Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging solutions.
As demand continues to grow, we're looking for an ambitious, personable and professional Home Energy Consultant to join our team.
This is a consultative sales role, focused on helping homeowners choose the right solution for their property. The majority of customer consultations are carried out via scheduled video appointments from our office, with occasional visits to customers' homes where required.
Our enquiries are generated through our marketing activity, meaning you'll be speaking with customers who have already expressed an interest in our services.
No previous industry experience is required—we'll provide full training on everything you need to know.
The role
You'll be responsible for guiding customers through the sales journey, from their initial consultation through to accepting their quotation.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Conducting scheduled video consultations with prospective customers.
- Understanding customers' needs and recommending the most suitable solution.
- Preparing and presenting quotations.
- Following up quotations and answering customer questions.
- Occasionally visiting customers' homes where a site visit is required.
- Building trust and providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Achieving agreed sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Full training provided

- Air Conditioning
- Solar PV
- Battery Storage
- EV Charging
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous face-to-face sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills with clear, concise spoken and written English.
- A confident, friendly and professional manner.
- A smart, well-presented appearance suitable for representing a premium local business.
- Strong listening and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to build trust and communicate without using high-pressure sales techniques.
- Confidence using Apple Mac computers and learning new software.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A full UK driving licence.
