We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Van Driver to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport goods to designated destinations within the scheduled timeframe
- Load and unload items, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are secure during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as organising stock or preparing goods for dispatch when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving commercial driving
- Valid <PERSON> driver licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and customers effectively
- Physical fitness to handle long periods of driving and manual handling tasks
