As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be part of the team responsible for keeping our equipment and fleet serviced and ready to hire at all times.
Fitter role includes but is not limited to:
- Maintaining and servicing of vehicles
- Operating and maintaining plant and equipment
- Ensuring roadworthiness of trailers, plant equipment and vehicles.
- Finding and fixing faults in plant and equipment
- Assessing and testing plant and equipment
- Environmental, health, and safety law, regulations, and standards
- Interpreting technical specifications and documents
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- Able to fault find
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work to your own initiative
- Excellent communicator who can work well in a team
