Job Summary
Credit Help Hire Ltd is a credit hire company providing replacement vehicles to customers involved in road traffic accidents.
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our business and support the maintenance and repair of our vehicle fleet.
The successful applicant will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and diagnosing faults on company vehicles. The role will help us reduce vehicle downtime and ensure our vehicles are maintained and returned to service efficiently.
Duties
- Service and repair fleet vehicles to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Replace and repair vehicle components as required.
- Carry out vehicle inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
- Complete service and repair documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety requirements and company procedures.
- Help reduce vehicle downtime and ensure vehicles are returned to service efficiently.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' practical experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to identify faults and carry out repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with vehicle systems, schematics and repair procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work safely and in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
Pay: £42,000.00 per year
