About the Role
As a Materials & Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting operational teams by ensuring materials, tools, equipment, and consumables are accurately received, stored, tracked, and dispatched. You'll help maintain stock accuracy, coordinate deliveries, and ensure field engineers have the resources they need to deliver projects successfully.
What You'll Be Doing

Receiving, inspecting, and booking in deliveries from suppliers.

Maintaining accurate stock records and recording all stock movements.

Carrying out stock audits and investigating discrepancies.

Picking, packing, and preparing materials for dispatch to operational teams.

Coordinating deliveries with couriers and third-party suppliers.

Managing PPE, tools, consumables, and equipment inventory.

Supporting the loading and unloading of vehicles and deliveries.

Maintaining warehouse and yard organisation, housekeeping, and security.

Completing relevant stock, asset, and compliance documentation.

Liaising with internal teams to resolve stock and logistics-related queries.

Ensuring all activities are carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, stock control, dispatch, or materials coordination role.

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.

Experience using warehouse systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.

Strong understanding of stock management and inventory control processes.

Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering high standards of service.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications

Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Forklift Licence (desirable, or willingness to obtain).

Telehandler Licence (desirable, or willingness to obtain).
