Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior chef to lead our culinary team within a dynamic hospitality environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food preparation and presentation in the kitchen.
- Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of performance.
- Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies.
- Plan menus in collaboration with the culinary team, incorporating innovative dishes while maintaining consistency.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and served promptly.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff, fostering professional development within the team.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a food production or hospitality setting.
- Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Demonstrable leadership abilities with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management.

Pay: £35,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
