CHILDMINDING ASSISTANT
Location: Stroud & Nailsworth
Hours: Various but 8.5 hours between 8am and 6pm Mon - Fri
Contract: Full-time, Part-time & Job Share opportunities available
Pay: £12.71–£14.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)

Tiny Tigers Childminding is expanding and we're looking for caring, enthusiastic Childminding Assistants to join our friendly team.
If you love getting involved in children's play, don't mind getting messy, enjoy being outdoors and want to make a real difference to children's early years, we'd love to hear from you.
We care for children aged 0–3 years in a warm environment where every child is encouraged to learn through play, curiosity and exploration.
Your Role
- Play alongside children and support their learning through fun, engaging activities.
- Create exciting invitations to play and explore.
- Read stories, sing songs and encourage language development.
- Support children during meals, snacks and daily routines.
- Take children on walks, local outings and adventures.
- Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
- Work closely with the team to provide exceptional childcare.
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Is warm, patient, caring and enthusiastic.
- Loves interacting with children at their level.
- Is reliable, organised and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
- Is flexible and available to work between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
- Is willing to complete any required training.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification.
- Previous childcare or nursery experience.
- Paediatric First Aid.
- Safeguarding training.
- Food Hygiene certificate.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

Tiny Tigers is a growing childminding business with our established setting in Stroud, and an exciting new setting opening in Nailsworth. We provide a nurturing, fun environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn. As a small team, we support one another, share ideas and take pride in providing exceptional childcare.
