We are a family-run logistics company based in Derby, seeking experienced drivers to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for helping to deliver our exceptional service to a wide range of leading customers in the aerospace industry.
As a full-time driver, we are looking for someone who can confidently drive all over the country, handling predominantly air freight and business-to-business deliveries. You will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods, ensuring that all items are loaded and unloaded efficiently. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your role requires strong driving skills, a valid driving license, and the ability to manage your time effectively.
Your previous experience as a courier, coupled with your communication skills, will be essential in meeting our organisation’s commitment to excellent service.
Please note that this roles requires evening and weekend availabilty due to the nature of our work.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials between warehouses and other designated locations. These will include delivering to airport cargo areas across the UK
- Load and unload cargo from the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management to coordinate pickups and drop-offs
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns. This will include vehicle check sheets being handed into the office, and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, logs, and delivery confirmations

Requirements:
- A valid DBS check is a requirement before employment commences due to the nature of our work
- Bradwood Couriers is a 24/7 operation, and therefore, flexibility in working hours is essential
- Valid driver's license with a maximum of 3 points
- Proven experience as a van driver or in a similar role is essential
- ADR Licence and Known Cargo certificates are an advantage, but we offer full training once employment has commenced
