United Trades is expanding, and we’re looking for a reliable, skilled Heating Engineer to join our growing team. About the Role
You’ll carry out a wide range of heating and plumbing work across domestic properties, including:
- Boiler installations, servicing, and repairs
- Central heating system diagnostics and maintenance
- General plumbing tasks as required
- Stove installations – desirable but not essential, as full upskilling and training will be provided but this will form part of the job role
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a heating engineer
- Strong knowledge of domestic heating systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Professional development – engage in ongoing learning to keep abreast of industry developments, particularly in renewable technologies and gas systems
- Relevant qualifications (Gas Safe, OFTEC, or similar)
- Full UK driving licence
- Safety compliance – adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring all work meets gas safe standards
- Mentorship – share knowledge and skills with apprentices and help them develop their skills
