Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Podiatrist to join our growing healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions, helping patients improve their mobility, comfort, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of foot and lower limb conditions, including injuries, infections, deformities, and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement personalised treatment plans.
- Provide routine podiatry treatments, biomechanical assessments, orthotic therapy, and minor procedures where appropriate.
- Educate patients on foot health, preventative care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
- Participate in continuing professional development and stay up to date with current clinical practices.
Requirements
Essential:
- BSc (Hons) in Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC registration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Competent in using electronic patient record systems and other healthcare IT systems.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a private practice, community, or clinical setting.
- Experience in musculoskeletal podiatry, diabetic foot care, biomechanics, or nail surgery.
- Full UK driving licence (if community-based work is required).
