Job Overview
We are looking to add an experienced fabricator/welder to our team. The ideal applicant will be able to work with a variety of materials, including sheet metal, and will have a solid understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processes. In order to assemble and create components in accordance with requirements.
Duties
- Operate welding equipment, including Tig, Mig and MMA welding, to join metal parts and components.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Utilise basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
- Work with various materials to produce products, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Maintain and operate tools safely and effectively.
- Perform routine inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques.
- Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work with different materials is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks.
