Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages responsibly, adhering to food safety standards and company policies
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent service from order taking to final delivery
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness at all times
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills, balancing registers at the end of shifts
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and assist in opening or closing procedures as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling beverages and ingredients
- Strong serving skills with the ability to connect with guests and create an inviting atmosphere
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Basic maths proficiency for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to responsible alcohol service and guest safety
