About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Roof Tiler/Slater to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain roof tiling and slating systems
- Work with materials including clay, concrete tiles, and natural/slate tiles
- Measure and cut materials to fit specific spaces
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety guidelines
- Identify and rectify issues such as leaks or weather damage
- Collaborate effectively with other trades and team members
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a roof tiler/slater
- Knowledge of traditional and modern roofing techniques
- Ability to work at height and in varying weather conditions
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Roofing (desirable)
- CSCS Card (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Own tools and transport (desirable)
