The Opportunity Are you an experienced CNC Grinder looking to work with world-class technology?
We are partnering with Yamazaki Mazak, a global market leader and innovator in machine tool manufacturing. We are looking for a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to join their high-precision machining department in Worcester. In this role, you will be producing complex, high-tolerance components that go directly into the assembly of state-of-the-art Mazak CNC machines.

What You Will Do

Set and operate Studer cylindrical and universal grinding machines to produce high-tolerance precision parts.

Utilize Fanuc CNC controls to program, edit, and optimize existing and new component runs.

Read and interpret complex engineering drawings to ensure exact specifications are met.

Champion a continuous improvement culture by actively engaging in Kaizen initiatives and health & safety improvements.

Work collaboratively within a highly skilled engineering team to maintain world-class production standards.
What You Need to Succeed

Proven experience setting and operating CNC Grinding machines in a precision engineering environment.

Strong technical understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding techniques.

Confidence in using and setting Fanuc CNC controls safely and efficiently.

A mechanical engineering apprenticeship background (Highly Desirable).

The ability to program Fanuc controls directly from engineering drawings (Highly Desirable).

Hours of Work (Double Day Shift)

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 5:30 am – 1:30 pm

Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm, and Friday 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
