Job Summary
- Lucky Lychee is looking for friendly, bright, efficient and hardworking Team Members to serve drinks and food in our award-winning Winchester pub and restaurant.
Responsibilities and Duties
- You’ll welcome guests, take orders and deliver food and drinks, ensuring everyone who visits has an excellent time. You will pre-empt what guests want, creating warm, relaxed, memorable experiences.
- You’ll need to work quickly, cleanly and thoroughly, upholding high quality standards. You’ll contribute to cleaning the public rooms, bar and kitchen.
- You’ll communicate clearly with your team mates and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
- Teamwork and respect for your colleagues is essential, contributing to a supportive and friendly environment.
Essential Requirements
- You should be available for work year-round (this is essential). This is not suitable as a short-term or summer job, we are looking for people who can commit to at least 1-2 years.
- You should be fully available to work through November and December.
- You must be available most Friday and Saturday evenings. We are flexible around other commitments (e.g. studies) when possible.
- Shifts commonly start around 5-7pm and finish 10-12pm. You will need to be available for occasional weekend daytime shifts too.
- You should be able to easily travel to and from work.
Qualifications and Skills
- A friendly, welcoming manner and an interest in food and drink.
- Experience working in a pub or restaurant is helpful but not essential.
- We value people who use initiative and enjoy being trusted to make decisions.
- Must be 16 or older.
Salary and Benefits
- £10-15ph including tips, depending on age and experience
