The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Regional Connections Manager to lead end-to-end customer connection delivery across an assigned region.
This is a senior operational leadership role, overseeing activity from survey and design validation through to civils, installation, activation and service handover. You’ll take ownership of regional performance, contractor delivery, customer commitments and operational excellence across the connection lifecycle.
You’ll lead teams, manage stakeholders and remove blockers to ensure safe, compliant and predictable delivery outcomes for customers and partners.

- Managing delivery pipelines, workload forecasts, resources and operational capacity
- Reviewing design packs, technical documentation, BoQs, drawings and build specifications
- Coordinating with Design, Build, Wayleave, Network Planning, Delivery and field teams

- Managing installation progress, activation readiness and service handover requirements
- Acting as the senior regional escalation point for complex delivery issues
- Managing contractor and supplier performance across safety, quality, productivity and service delivery
- Championing HSEQ, CDM, NRSWA, RAMS, PTWs and compliance standards
- Tracking KPIs, aged orders, installation success rates, activation performance and contractor productivity
- Leading, coaching and developing regional delivery teams
This is a role where strong leadership, operational control and customer focus will make a measurable impact.
About You
You’re an experienced operational leader with a strong understanding of fibre network delivery and infrastructure deployment. You’re confident managing teams, contractors and complex delivery environments, while keeping safety, quality and customer experience front and centre.
You’ll likely bring:
- Experience in fibre network deployment, telecoms infrastructure or utilities delivery
- Experience managing operational delivery teams and field-based contractors
- Knowledge of civils delivery, installation, activation and service handover processes
- Experience managing escalations, delivery risks and service recovery activity
- Understanding of RAMS, PTWs, SSRAMs, CDM, NRSWA and HSEQ requirements
- Stakeholder, customer and contractor management skills
- Commercial awareness, cost control and performance management experience
- Confidence using FSM platforms, workflow systems and performance reporting tools
- Leadership, communication and influencing skills
Experience with PIA, Openreach infrastructure, OTDR testing, continuity testing, Point-to-Point services or Critical National Infrastructure projects would be advantageous.
