Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner and Laundry Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our establishment, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all customers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hotel housekeeping, domestic high end cleans, laundry and ironing services, demonstrating attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our reputation for quality service while developing your skills within the hospitality industry. You will be required to work in customers homes cleaning as well as in a shop, so flexibility is essential.
Duties
- Greet customers in our shop and promote our business.
- Operate laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and other textiles
- Iron linen and clothing to a high standard.
- Ensure all laundry is processed according to health and safety standards procedures
- Notify when products are running low and need replenishing.
- Clean domestic homes to a very high standard attention to detail is paramount.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities to management
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Read and monitor emails and the shops computer system, loading orders and dealing with payments.
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel cleaning, or high end domestic setting or laundry services is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be flexible and working at different locations within the area at short notice.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with colleagues and reporting issues effectively
- Flexibility in working hours, including one saturday per month.

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
